The beauty industry is one of the most dynamic, fast growing and competitive industries in the world. But behind that growth sits a consistent set of people and training challenges that repeat across every corner of the sector, from global retailers to independent operators. Recognising that consistency, and knowing what it takes to address it, is what led Anita Willson to found Beauti Industri Co in 2022.​

Anita is a beauty industry feedback and leadership specialist, trainer performance coach and learning designer with over two decades of experience in training and education in the beauty retail space. She has held senior roles with global brands including MAC Cosmetics, Smashbox, and Sephora. At MAC,

she served as Regional Training Manager across London, the South of the UK, and Ireland, overseeing training for the brand's number one global store at Selfridges London.

She later became National Training Manager for Smashbox in the UK and Ireland, before joining Sephora Australia and New Zealand as Training Manager, where she led a team of trainers working alongside more than 100 beauty brands. Her career has also seen her train teams across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, giving her valuable insight into the diverse markets and nuances of the beauty industry.

their people.
